Why Has My Email “From” Address Changed?

To ensure your emails consistently reach your patients’ inboxes (and not their spam folders), we’ve updated the way we send emails on your behalf.

Emails will now show as:
[Your Practice Name] hello@smilemarketing.com

The Reply-To address remains your practice email, so any replies from patients will go directly to you.

Why the Change?

Email providers like Gmail and Outlook have strengthened their spam and security filters. Using our verified and trusted domains improves deliverability and helps keep your emails from being flagged as spam. This update aligns with the latest email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

What Does This Mean for You?

✅ Your practice name still appears as the sender, so patients know it’s from you
✅ Patients can reply as usual, and you’ll receive responses directly
✅ No action is needed on your part—we’ve taken care of everything

Do I Need to Do Anything?

No. This is a proactive step to protect your email reputation and improve results. Everything else about your email communication remains the same.
